Northeast Arc EI Cape Ann Groups

This wholesome group introduces and immerses children ages 18 months through 36 months and their families to the therapeutic benefits of nature through age-appropriate, hands-on exploration at the Mass Audubon Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary in Topsfield. Along with nature walks, focusing on regulating the sensory systems, safety and community connection this group also offers songs, yoga/breathing, simple activities and unstructured open play time at the site's natural playground. This is an opportunity to serve children and families who may benefit from the therapeutic benefits of nature as an alternative modality or those who have limited exposure or access to the great outdoors. 

There is no such thing as bad weather - Please note that this group takes place rain or shine. Please be prepared with appropriate clothing and materials for you and your child depending on the varied weather (rain jacket, sunscreen or sun clothing, high socks, hats, water bottle).
